In this Business Development Manager in London, you will be joining an early-stage SaaS start-up, provide psychometric hiring assessments to allow businesses to save time and hire the right people using objective scientific data helping their clients make an informed decision that goes beyond any CV or hiring managers ‘gut feeling…’ Through their partner Aon Insurance their technology is already utilised and trusted by international powerhouses such as O2, Volkswagen, Burger King, Vodafone, Sunglasses Hut, KPMG and Deloitte, but they’re looking to bring this tech to SMEs and start-ups to reduce the risk of businesses making bad hires in a cost-effective subscription-based model (SaaS).

Job Description

In this Sales Manager job in London, you'll be joining their newly formed and rapidly growing Business Development Team working to build up the ever-expanding client base, and pitch their SaaS platform to start-ups and SMEs who are looking to scale and grow their teams. You’ll be managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to product demos and closing, winning new business and growing the client base of this startup. Consequently, you will need to be determined, motivated, resilient and a problem solver – you’ll be able to figure out how to get in front of the right people and demo their Psychometric assessment services.

Key Responsibilities

In this Sales Account Manager job in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full sales pipeline from prospecting through to product demos and closing
  • You’ll be working in conjunction with their team of SDRs who will be supplementing your lead pipeline and booking demo meetings on your behalf
  • Carrying out research into the hiring market and building up your own list of outbound relevant leads
  • Managing the lead pipeline/lead generation to ensure consistent prospective leads
  • Conducting outbound prospecting, qualifying and being the first point of contact via email, LinkedIn and phone
  • Developing your pitch and demo structure – from being able to uncover prospective clients needs to leading bespoke SaaS software demos to prospective clients
  • Deliver marketing material via email and LinkedIn to promote their SaaS psychometric hiring assessments and product insight to prospects while establishing a trusting relationship with key stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • You’ll have a solid year within an outbound sales role ideally within Recruitment, HRTech or relevant SaaS startup
  • A strong track record of hitting and exceeding targets and winning new business, someone who is highly target-driven and possesses a results-orientated work ethic
  • Not afraid of picking up the phone and calling someone, discussing partnerships via video or phone
  • Excellent communication skills, confident, charismatic and personable
  • The ability to work autonomously and willing to learn fast
  • Autonomous, adaptable, collaborative, and strategic. The right candidate will thrive in a startup environment in a high-innovation sector
  • A creative mindset and keen to explore innovative ways to bring on new business
