Key responsibilities - Business Development Executive

In this Business Development Executive opportunity, your responsibilities will include:

  • Identify new target firms and establish new relationships with existing clients
  • Create and manage a pipeline of leading asset management firms across the UK and Continental Europe
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts.
  • Understand the requirements of both portfolio managers as well as their colleagues in operations and compliance in the asset management industry.
  • Work closely with the product management team to enhance the products and services based on feedback from clients and targets.
  • Opportunities to apply yourself to other areas of the business including product and marketing

Job requirements - Business Development Executive

  • A 2.1 from a top university preferably in Economics or Finance
  • 1 years experience in selling investment research, technical infrastructure or financial services. Desirable but not necessary
  • Be extremely motivated with a diligent work ethic
  • Articulate, polished, and professional communicator with a good phone/video call manner and excellent writing skills
  • Autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset: essential to take full ownership of goals, deadlines, and targets
  • Good knowledge of capital markets
