Job Description

In this New Business Executive graduate role in London, you will be working with clients both new and existing for this FMCG SME. You will be tasked with reaching out to new bakeries, coffee shops, cafes to extend the reach of the business. You will also be posting materials across the brand-new company website and social media pages to build up the client base of the firm. The role will also involve account management, cross-selling and up-selling goods and services to existing clients. The ideal candidate would have experience in these areas and a passion for working in FMCG.

Key Responsibilities

In this Sales Account Executive opportunity in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Use a variety of tools to bring on new business for the firm
  • Potentially visiting clients to fully understand the business and their needs
  • Create and manage a pipeline of potential new clients across the UK
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts through cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, posting materials to social media to develop the business.

Job Requirements

For this Business Development job in London, you will need:

  • A 2:1 in an ideally business-related subject
  • Previous experience in sales (ideally in FMCG)
  • Be extremely motivated with a diligent work ethic
  • A serious passion for baking and food
  • Articulate, polished, and professional communicator with a good phone/video call manner and excellent writing skills
  • Autonomous and entrepreneurial mindset: essential to take full ownership of goals, deadlines, and targets
