Job Description

Our client's user base is beginning to grow, and they're in need of someone to join their London team and help bring in new business! You will be targeted on business to business (B2B) lead generation and arranging meetings for the business. This is a new position in the company and you will be working closely with senior salesmen. As you develop you could be involved much more heavily with closing deals as well. You will need to be able to understand a complex tech product in order to explain the benefits and answer queries potential buyers might have.

Key Responsibilities

In this Sales Executive job in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Outbound prospecting into various industry verticals via channels such as phone, email, and social media.
  • Thinking strategically about how you can develop pipelines through different channels and creating relevant campaigns.
  • Meeting monthly targets aimed at increasing our sales pipeline and revenue.
  • Engaging with our commercial strategy as we explore different markets and nail down our product-market fit
  • Following-up on inbound leads generated through Advertising, Web enquiries, Web Chats, Webinars, Events, etc.
  • Holding technical discussions with our customers to advise them how our hardware and software can be used to meet their requirements.
  • Developing deep product knowledge, awareness of competitor offerings and continuous feedback to our tech and operations teams

Job Requirements

  • A stellar academic record with at least a 2.1 from a top university, analytical degrees such as STEM subjects are preferred
  • Previous sales experience is ideal but not essential
  • A clear record of prior achievement in past roles, personal projects or academia
  • A positive, self-motivated and highly-determined person with a desire to succeed
  • Proactive, autonomous & self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral, are essential.
  • Good persuasion and negotiation skills
