In this German-speaking Business Development role, you will be joining the UK’s leading wedding planning app and website, who provide planning tools, advice and a directory of venues and suppliers to the engaged couple. In a little over two years since they launched, they now have 2 in 3 engaged couples in the UK using their app to plan their wedding. They’re about to launch in the German market and are now seeking a smart and ambitious German-speaking Business Development Executive to join their growing London team!

Job responsibilities - Business Development Executive (German-Speaking)

In this Business Development Executive job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the full sales process from start to finish- focusing on business growth
  • Making both warm and cold sales calls, introducing the venues, suppliers and partners to the company and app
  • Work towards strategic goals whilst prioritizing customer experience
  • Building maintain strong relationships with potential clients
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits
  • Work closely with Sales and Supplier Success Teams on new commercial opportunities and collaborate with other internal teams

Job requirements - Business Development Executive (German-Speaking)

  • Ideally, you will have a 2.1 from a good university
  • 1 year + experience in a Sales role
  • Fluent in German
  • Confident in explaining digital products and an interest in tech
  • Great communicator, both verbally and written
  • Outstanding sales skills and proven experience hitting and exceeding targets
