In this Business Development Executive position, you will be joining a membership club start-up founded in 2019. They believe that everyone should enjoy health and happiness in later life and are developing a global platform to help members get the most out of their retirement. By continuously partnering with various businesses, they have over 100 offers, discounts and activities to date. They have launched their initial platform and with its success, they have views for international expansion an exciting product roadmap ahead! Having raised three angel rounds of investment during lockdown this growing team is looking for a Junior Partnerships Executive to join them on their mission.

Job Description


In this remote based Partnerships and Business Development Executive role, you will be reporting directly to the Partnerships Acquisition Manager. You will identify new partner opportunities, planning the strategy to sign them up and get the best options possible. You will nurture and maintain already existing relationships and look for any gaps in the partner offering. Working closely with the customer success team will ensure you get feedback from members to better understand their wants and wishes! This Partnerships Executive role will suit a motivated self-starter who is driven to make a difference.
*Please note this role is remote with occasional travel to London*

Key Responsibilities

In this Graduate Sales job role, your responsibilities will include:
  • Assess potential partnership opportunities, building a strategy to sign them up as partners and working tactically and negotiate as you go
  • Identifying and attracting exciting partners for the 11 confirmed categories
  • Work with the Partner Success Executive to identify gaps in the partner offering and proactively worked to fill those gaps.
  • Increase conversion rates and efficiencies in your process
  • Working closely with customer success to understand the requirements of the end-user

Job Requirements

  • A 2.1 degree from a top university (a business-related discipline is desirable)
  • A motivated, self-starter who’s able to build rapport quickly
  • Previous experience in sales/marketing/partnerships- B2B ideally
  • Exceptional communication and client management skills
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude towards work
  • Interested in working for a fast-paced start-up
