Job description – Business and Marketing Analyst

In this Business and Marketing Analyst role, you will have varying responsibilities to assist our Sales & Marketing team to provide data analysis and marketing support for all campaigns and workstreams, whilst working alongside internal and external stakeholders. The work is both quantitative and qualitative and will be varied as you will be involved in reports, data analysis and budget creation. Successful candidates will typically have a mix of strong communication, writing and numerical skills, and the ability to build relationships with contacts around the world.

Key responsibilities - Business and Marketing Analyst

In this Research Analyst role, your responsibilities will involve:

  • Work with key stakeholders across Development, Project Management and Sales teams, as well as external agencies, to aid in the delivery of new development launches.
  • Produce regular reports for both internal and external stakeholders reporting on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis as required. Reports include sales, expenditure and completion forecasting as well as regular reports on the status of sales for the various London projects along with progress reports for banks and insurance providers.
  • Track and monitor ROI of online and offline advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor PPC campaign spend and effectiveness through the monitoring of website traffic, social media engagement and email campaign tracking to ensure the marketing budget is spent effectively and we target our audience through successful campaigns.
  • To assist with the budget creation of new projects, including analysis of supplier costs v budget.
  • Work alongside the commercial, development, project and finance teams to collate information as required for presentations and reports, along with data required by external consultants;
  • Undertake market research as required to include mystery shopping, competitor analysis, market trends, demographics, pricing strategies and other relevant information for Sales & Marketing decision making and planning;
  • Support the Sales & Marketing department in carrying out various tasks as required, for example, assisting in the creation and coordination of marketing material for launches, ongoing marketing of the London schemes as well as FEC corporate marketing

Job requirements - Business and Marketing Analyst

  • A 2:1 degree from university, ideally in Marketing, Business, Economics or Maths
  • A commercial confidence with numbers and the ability to work with Excel
  • A good understanding of the property business world
  • Previous experience in PPC, SEO or Google Analytics is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to spot trends and patterns in data
  • Excellent client-facing skills and confidence when working with others
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fantastic organisational and time management skills
  • Hard-working go-get attitude
