In this graduate Financial Accountant role, you will be joining a live-streaming experience platform, dedicated to the idea of staying connected to the world and championing the growth of the new age travel industry. Job Description

In this remote based Junior Financial Accountant job working remotely, you will be forming part of the founding financial team in our client’s organisation! This is a rare opportunity to build a world-class finance function right from the beginning. You will be supporting the wider team, making sure bills (and the awesome guides!) are paid on time, running payroll, and looking after some of our day-to-day bookkeeping. You will also have the opportunity to help build and monitor performance against our first budget, providing great insights along the way.

Key Responsibilities

In this Junior Financial Accountant position (remote job UK), your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and processing of AP invoices including expenses management, ensuring proper general ledger Assisting in monitoring this data and using this data to help make informed strategic decisions regarding the growth and direction of the business
  • Prepare the weekly payment runs for approval and manage the upload of the same in Xero and banks
  • Working alongside our third-party accountants to support month end close, completing balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing expenses
  • Support payroll process to ensure all the team around the world are paid accurately and on time
  • Build strong working relationships with fellow team members and third party suppliers, helping to quickly and efficiently solve queries and support new

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within that fast paced start up environment
  • You will come from an excellent academic background, having achieved in that arena since before university
  • Strong numerical and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised is required, and experience in juggling many responsibilities and deadlines is a huge plus
  • Interest in working within a start-up environment, being a part of a company’s journey and growth
