In this Accounts Receivable role, you will be joining a specialist management consultancy focused on procurement and supply chain improvement programmes. Already hugely established with c. 500 employees and a host of established international clients, they are looking to grow their UK office rapidly over the next year. As part of this expansion, the company is on the hunt for a data-driven graduate to join their UK team as an Accounts Administrator.

Job description - Accounts Administrator

In this Accounts Administrator role, you will be joining the finance team. You will be an integral part of the commercial function of the business. You will liaise with project managers to ensure payments by clients are made promptly and on time. You will report directly to the Head of Commercial Finance and will work closely with senior management members of other teams. You will also be supported to study financial qualifications and there’s great scope for progression. If you have a keen interest in finance this Account Administrator role could be for you.

Accounts Administrator - Accounts Administrator

In this Accounts Administrator job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure accounts and projects are correctly set up
  • Raise monthly invoices and liaise with stakeholders
  • Data analysis to support KPIs
  • Check potential customer credit ratings prior to final sign off
  • Monthly system reconciliation
  • Support the cashflow forecast process
  • Build relationships with internal staff and external clients to enable the smooth running of client accounts
  • Implement process improvements to increase invoicing efficiency

Job requirements - Accounts Administrator

  • An exemplary academic background with a minimum of a 2.1 from a top university, ideally in a financial subject
  • 9+ months working in a similar role- reporting to senior management
  • Fantastic communication- both written and verbal
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and a ‘can do’ attitude
