Job description - Account Manager

By joining the Account Management function, you’ll play a crucial role in the company's retention strategy. You must be commercially minded and have the ability to spot growth opportunities within your client portfolio, both locally and internationally. Using data collected on office usage, it will be your responsibility to analyse trends in order to spot upsell opportunities. Organisation is key, and a big part of this role is prioritising key customers to provide an outstanding experience. With every contract typically worth over £500k, this is serious business!

Key responsibilities - Account Manager

In this Account Management job in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting monthly meetings with tenants who have just moved into their new office space
  • Using reporting based on space usage to inform your client meetings, asking the right questions to uncover potential account growth opportunities
  • Uncovering any changes in company requirements and ensuring the needs of the client are continuously met
  • Undertaking visits to client offices to ensure the standard of the office is high, proactively spotting opportunities for improvement
  • Coordinating all office upgrades with the Projects team to ensure the space is optimised for the needs of the business
  • Managing the retention budget to ensure ongoing client happiness

Job requirements - Account Manager

  • 2+ years experience in a client-facing role
  • You build rapport easily, able to manage multiple stakeholders and be at ease speaking with CEO’s and Office Managers
  • Commercially minded, able to spot upsell opportunities by asking thoughtful questions and by analysing app data on office usage
  • Obsessed with organisation, attention to detail and punctuality
  • Problem solvers- on site with clients identifying ways to proactively solve problems
  • Keen eye for detail to ensure the office space is of the highest standard and still relevant to their needs
