In this Account Executive Graduate Scheme, you will be joining an incredible business that has grown by 150% in the last year alone, and have backing from one of the UK’s most successful investors. Founded by FinTech superstars with years of experience in the sector, they have a simple mission - to make business funding faster and fairer. Their unique offering gives clients access to over 100 banks and alternative providers, ensuring the best match is always made. They’re now looking to heavily invest in their junior team and in 2022 will be running their successful client-focused rotational grad scheme. You will spend a maximum of twelve months in the programme, working across different verticals within the business. This will give you great exposure to the various components in the revenue department of a successful FinTech startup and will provide a varied and challenging graduate FinTech role.

Key responsibilities - Account Executive Graduate Scheme

In this Account Executive Graduate Scheme in London, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working alongside the funding team, supporting the procurement process and ensuring new clients are correctly onboarded/managed
  • Sitting with the New Business team, learning how to manage and convert all client enquiries
  • Ensuring that the client base is continually expanding
  • Learning what a successful Account Manager looks like - you will learn how to effectively nurture existing client relationships
  • Proposal management - you will be working directly with deal managers and helping the commercial team put together suitable proposals

Job requirements - Account Executive Graduate Scheme

  • A minimum of a 2.1 from university
  • A top communicator - you’ll have proven experience presenting, writing and forming meaningful relationships
  • A real go-getter as shown with extra curricular activities and university societies
  • Naturally curious - you’re not afraid to ask why and enjoy the prospect of working in a fast-paced, consistently evolving environment
  • The ability to take the necessary initiative in making decisions, improve processes, or come up with new ideas to grow the business
  • Someone who is able to display great relationship management skills when necessary
