Job description

In this PR Account Executive graduate job, you will be working across several accounts within corporate communications, financial PR and investor relations advisory. Your responsibility will be to deliver primarily media relations support; including drafting briefing notes, conducting research, liaising with journalists and clients, tracking media coverage and reporting. Collaborating with several different teams, you will have plenty of exposure to social media, marketing and content, as well as the opportunity to develop your communication skills by liaising with the media, analysts, journalists, and clients.

Key responsibilities

In this PR Account Executive graduate job, your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting briefing documents for client interviews
  • Writing press releases, blogs, tweets and posts for social media
  • Liaising with media to set up interviews for clients
  • Tracking media coverage and reporting
  • Conducting market research, analysing industry issues and organising events and conferences
  • Pitching stories to the media & building relationships with journalists
  • Maintaining media lists, features and journalist databases
  • Completing status reports and running sheets.
  • Updating time-sheets regularly

Job requirements

  • A 2.1 degree from university
  • Strong knowledge of the financial market.
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills
  • Great eye for detail and a self-starter who takes initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A high level of creativity and ability to think outside the box
