Most employers recognise that hiring employees can be a costly, time-consuming and laborious process. It’s also not always certain that a hire will be made at the end; making it relatively high-risk, and draining for internal resources.
Therefore, employers use recruitment agencies to save money and time, by streamlining their recruitment processes.
As well as conserving time, money and resources, there are many other benefits of using recruitment agencies. With a large network of candidates and the reach to advertise a role effectively, recruitment agencies help employers find and hire the best candidates for their roles, whilst also helping with employer branding, handling administrative duties and interview feedback.
Whether you’re a startup aiming for rapid growth, or a large company looking to take on new talent, graduates can have several tangible benefits for businesses.
From working closely with graduates, we know that learning, professional development and company culture is just as important to candidates as their starting salary; making hiring graduates a great option for companies with a smaller budget for recruitment.
Employing staff who are enthusiastic and brimming with new ideas can often help to push and motivate existing staff. Employers will often find that hiring a graduate will help the development of their entire team; providing healthy competition between colleagues.
As well as often being more advanced when it comes to technology, graduates can offer a new perspective on potentially outdated processes within your business. If your company has never thought to hire a graduate before; they might be the wave of innovation your business could benefit from!
After years of studying at university, graduates have mastered self-learning and working independently. Graduates often choose jobs over graduate schemes because of the responsibility and autonomy they offer; so you can expect a graduate hire to join your team armed with fresh ideas and initiative.
As well as being able to mould to the needs of your business, graduates tend to also be more open to new ideas and change. This can be especially useful if your business is rapidly growing or evolving; as we know graduates are well-suited to startup culture.
Having graduated, searched and applied for opportunities, graduates will tend to arrive at a new job with drive and ambition in abundance. This kind of enthusiasm can have a hugely positive impact for your business’ and general team morale.
Fresh out of university, graduates can be moulded to fit the needs of your business, working across teams to offer real value to fast-growing companies. If they have had no previous graduate roles, they will be uninfluenced by previous ways of doing things; and therefore can adapt to fit your business.
Research has proven that graduates can bring about a high ROI, providing new ideas and contributing value to businesses of all sizes. With a relatively low cost to hire, graduates can be moulded to business requirements, develop and thrive at your company long-term, and become your future business leaders.

Quality
84%
of our graduates have a 2:1 or masters
In order to ensure that the best candidates are put forward, we double-vet all of our applicants with phone and sometimes face-to-face interviews, before introducing them to you.
During our calls and meetings, we find out their career objectives and past accomplishments, quiz them on why they would like to be considered for the opportunity, and find out exactly what has attracted them to your business. Only when an experienced Consultant is sure that the candidate matches up to what you are looking for, will you receive their graduate CV and profile to review.
Whether it’s a first hire or a 30th hire you make through us, we invest our time making sure that candidates are a great match for your job, and deciphering whether they have a genuine passion for the role.
You can be sure that the graduates you meet are of an exceptionally high standard, saving you valuable time, money and resources.
Speed
13
working days to fill a role on average
As your graduate recruitment partners, our aim is to work quickly on your behalf. We use our very own custom-built recruitment software to work through a large and continuous flow of graduate applications quickly and precisely.
Reviewing around 15,000 new job applications every month, we aim to reply to every job application we receive within 7 days, and contact suitable candidates within 24 hours of their application. Our goal is to send you a shortlist of our best-matched graduates within one week of your instruction; although, in reality, this is usually just a few working days.
Presuming that you wish to interview some or all of the shortlist, we will be on-hand at every stage, to help with administrative duties such as organising telephone and face-to-face interviews. Later on in the graduate recruitment process, our service also includes gathering and relaying feedback, organising contracts, and even helping to support candidate onboarding.
Cost
95%
probation pass rate
Whether you're a talent team working to a strict budget or an SME aiming for rapid growth, we offer a range of cost structures suited to your specific needs.
We help businesses save money by investing all the up-front advertising, marketing and resourcing costs, meaning that you don’t have to budget for or choose between job boards.
We consider a successful placement to be one where the candidate passes their 3-month probation, so we also have a structured rebate in place to protect your investment. For employers, this reduces the risk of either not making a hire, or making a bad hire – something that we know can be hugely costly for businesses.
Service
As well as helping companies hire graduates, we also assist employers with creating a recruitment strategy plan; including:
Within the Give A Grad A Go team, Candidate Resourcers manage the flow of graduates, and Recruitment Consultants handle candidate interviews and shortlists.
There is no candidate ownership at Give A Grad A Go, and all Graduate Recruiters work across teams, with the common goal of making sure every graduate finds the best possible start to their career.
To kick things off you will be assigned to your dedicated Account Manager, who will take charge of understanding exactly what your business is looking for, and put together a detailed project plan. Once we have reviewed and vetted applications, we will then send you a shortlist of carefully-selected candidates who we believe will be great for the opportunity.
We look to build and nurture long-term partnerships that go beyond one-time hires – helping you to grow your team and scale up your business accordingly.
