Graduate Jobs
Give A Grad A Go are bringing our expertise to Australia, to help graduates seek entry-level opportunities, having already been widely regarded as the UK's leading graduate jobs and recruitment experts.
For graduates in Australia, this page should help to answer any questions about the graduate recruitment process. If your question isn’t answered below, please contact us and we would be more than happy to answer any further questions you have.
To help you find the best graduate positions in Australia, we first need to find out about you - this includes your education, skills, any previous work experience, and what you want to get out of your career. If you don't know yet, that’s also fine - we are here to help you refine your job search.
The first step in finding graduate jobs is to create your profile on our website. Once you have completed your profile and entered your job match preferences, we will update you via email about the graduate jobs that match what you are looking for.
Create your profile on Give A Grad A Go here - and start your search for graduate jobs in Australia.
Once you are registered, you can start your job search and find jobs across Australia. Initially, we will be based in Melbourne, so you can expect to find graduate jobs in Melbourne on our website.
This list will grow as our presence amongst graduates in Australia expands - and we are also looking to start offering graduate jobs in Sydney, graduate jobs in Perth, graduate jobs in Brisbane, and more.
Applying for a job process:
When applying for a job on our website, we have purposely made the application process very straightforward. If you find a graduate job you like the look of, all you need to do is choose the appropriate CV and hit ‘send’. You can store various versions of your graduate CV on your profile.
We will review your CV and decide whether your profile matches what the client is looking for in a graduate hire.
If your application is successful, you will receive a call to run through your skills, experiences, and your graduate career preferences.
They will also tell you about the company and the role, and you will be asked about why you think you would be a good fit. Following this call, you will be asked to go away and research the company online - this is a vital step to show that you are interested in the role and understand what the company does.
Once the Consultant decides that you would be a good fit, and you have confirmed your interest in the job opportunity, they will shortlist you, and send your CV & profile to the employer for them to review your job application.
It’s up to the client whether they'd like to invite you to interview stages.
If your job application is successful, we will work closely with you to prepare your answers to interview questions. Following the interview, a Consultant will call you to run through your feedback, how you found the interview and let you know the employer’s feedback.
If your job application is unsuccessful, our team will reconvene to look for other graduate opportunities you'd be well-suited to - or, you can keep applying for graduate jobs on the Give A Grad A Go job board.
If you get the job - congratulations on your new role! We will work with the employer to organise your start date, any references they require, and your employment contract.
If you are unsuccessful, please don’t be disheartened. We'll get interview feedback directly from the company, and will keep you in mind for similar graduate opportunities that come up.

"Thank you so much to the lovely Camilla who placed me in my role. It speaks for itself why Give A Grad A Go are so popular, literally the best agency ever. Such a friendly and genuine team, many of whom I was in contact with on my job search - but I can’t thank Camilla enough for placing me in my job which I’m so happy in."
"Really happy with the service that I received from Give A Grad A Go (especially Joe Goddard). Managed to get a really exciting graduate job with them, in addition to this, they helped me a lot with guidance on how to improve my CV and prepared me well for interviews. I would definitely recommend this company to others."
"I am very fortunate to have come across this agency! From the beginning of my journey, I came across amazing individuals that have helped me from the assessment stages, through to finding the right job role based on what I was looking for. They took the time to get to know me and tailored the opportunities in line to my desired career path. I want to say a HUGE thank you to Sam and the amazing team, as I have now been offered a position which will kickstart my career goals!! you guys are AWESOME! I couldn’t be more pleased."
"I would recommend Give A Grad A Go for recent graduates looking for their first job. I was incredibly lucky to have Elise, who was the recruitment agent and first point of contact throughout the application process. She was absolutely amazing at keeping in contact with me; providing me with feedback within 30 minutes after interviews and answering any emails or telephone calls when I had general queries within an hour. She was also really lovely to speak with, particularly with calming any pre-interview nerves. I’ve now landed my first entry-level job that I’m excited to start."
"Extraordinary service. I first contacted them on the 28th of August and accepted a great job offer on the 9th of September. They are professional, diligent, tireless and help you throughout the whole process. A massive THANK YOU to Luke who contacted me on a daily basis informing me on how my applications were going and prepped me before each interview stage. Honourable mentions to Will, Dominic, Harry and the rest of the team. It was a pleasure."
"I recently worked with Camilla who helped me from start to finish to secure a really great position. Unlike others, I found that this agency keeps you informed through the whole process, whether that be through an unsuccessful job application or even to catching up to see what you are hoping to achieve in future endeavours. Again, I would highly recommend Camilla, who made the whole process easier through her calm demeanour and patience with my stupid questions!"
"Katie is simply the best. She approached me, having identified that I would be a really good fit for a role, and within 10 or so days we organised 2 interviews and the role was mine! I’m an incredibly happy bunny, all down to Katie. She is well organised, a good communicator, kept me up to date with feedback and gave sound suggestions and advice. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Katie. On top of being an excellent recruiter, she is a lovely, down to earth person. Couldn’t recommend Katie or Give A Grad A Go enough."
"I had a great experience with Give A Grad A Go. I can personally testify to the extremely proactive and good-humoured nature of the staff I worked with. Special mention goes to Harry, whose relaxed and affable demeanour put me at ease and allowed me to convey my needs fully. Harry worked very hard to secure me a new job within a matter of weeks, giving me invaluable and comprehensive advice, which gave me great confidence that I was in capable hands. Cheers!"
"I would definitely recommend Give A Grad A Go, and more specifically Dominic. He contacted me about a job and once I decided to proceed with it, he supported me throughout the whole recruitment process. Within a week of his first call, I received a job offer! I would not have made it without him."
"After dealing with quite a few agencies after graduation Give A Grad A Go really stood out, other recruiters were disinterested and sometimes a bit disorganised. Nick Roe was the recruiter who found me a role far better than I could have imagined and the 3 round process was organised from start to finish within 5 days. After every interview round he was quick to give feedback, next steps and make sure I was on the ball for the next interview stage."
