Content Marketing & Operations Assistant

I'm Give A Grad A Go's Content Marketing & Operations Assistant. Working mainly within the Marketing Team, I handle our student and graduate marketing as well as ensuring our job postings attract a wide range of candidates.

My area of expertise

My role at Give A Grad A Go is extremely varied! I mainly work within the candidate-orientated part of the Marketing Team, managing operational duties like job postings and data processing, and more creative responsibilities like copywriting for blogs, social media, emails and more. I also manage our growing student network, Go Graduate Network, and our many student and graduate competitions!

Why I chose to work at Give A Grad A Go

Whilst applying to graduate jobs, I was running my own blogging website – which centred around graduate career journeys – on the side. So, when I saw the role at Give A Grad A Go pop up online, it seemed perfect! During the interview process, it became very clear that there is a great team culture at Give A Grad A Go, made up of people who genuinely care about your development, which is such a rare thing to find – so it was a no brainer!

The worst job I've had

I am quite lucky in that I haven’t had any ‘bad’ jobs, but I’ve definitely had jobs with bad moments. My first ever job was working for a catering company as front of house at weddings. Unsurprisingly, this meant having to deal with a lot of extremely intoxicated (and often inappropriate) wedding guests – not fun!
