Meet the team

Name: Cary Curtis

Position: Founder and Managing Director

Background: I created GAGAGO in July 2009, having studied Engineering at University of Nottingham. Prior to that, I was studying at the Oundle School.

Why did you choose to work for GAGAGO? GAGAGO was founded on the basis that there were thousands of very bright and very capable graduates leaving university without a job. On the other hand, there were hundreds of companies doing exceptionally well yet struggling to find hungry and determined fresh candidates. We make these introductions, give some guidance along the way and get a real kick out of watching careers and businesses flourish.

Claim to fame: I came up with the name Give A Grad A Go.

Name: Natacha Cullinan

Position: Digital Marketing Executive

Background: I studied at the French Lycée in South Kensington before doing my A-levels at the Ursuline High School, in French, Spanish, English Language, Media Studies. I then went to the University of Bristol to do my French and Spanish BA. I started at GAGAGO in March 2012.

Why did you choose to work for GAGAGO? I chose to work at Give A Grad A Go because I liked the idea of working with a tight-knit team of fun graduates who are as professional as they are easy-going. When I met the guys, I instantly felt it wouldn't be an average 9-5 job, with lots of scope to grow. Besides, when I saw the flapjacks getting passed round, I knew I'd want in!

Claim to fame: I bumped into Romain Duris (French actor) on my year abroad in Paris and had a little chat with him.

Name: Grace Brodie / GB

Position: Senior Consultant

Background: I grew up in France, earning a Bilingual International Baccalaureate at the International School of Toulouse in 2006. From there I went up to St Andrews where I had enrolled for French and Film Studies but ended up converting to French with Spanish. I graduated with a 2:1 in June 2010, starting at GAGAGO on the 1st of July.

Why did you choose to work for GAGAGO? I didn't leave uni with a burning desire to become a recruitment consultant (I initially wanted to go into PR) and I am fast approaching my 2nd year here and I'm very happy indeed. Choosing GAGAGO wasn't difficult because I was, and still am, really excited to be a part of a burgeoning brand that is making huge waves to help grads forge a career.

Claim to fame: Whilst interning with the press team of a pro-am golf tournament in St Andrews, Hugh Grant asked me to walk round the course with him...Sadly, I couldn't, but I did get to interview him once he'd finished...

Name: Ben Taylor

Position: Graduate Specialist

Background: I went to Eton College and did A levels in Maths, Economics & Geography. I then went to the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne to read Geography. I started at GAGAGO on the 8th August 2011.

Why did you choose to work for GAGAGO? I came in to discuss opportunities I was looking to pursue, having felt a little bogged down with the job hunt. I was really taken by the working atmosphere at GAGAGO and thought it would be a great place to kick-start my career. A few hours later, Cary gave me a call offering me to come in for a trial and the rest, as they say, is history!

Claim to fame: As a whipper snapper I was fortunate enough to play touch rugby with the England legend and man mountain that is Victor Ubogu. And I am now the proud owner of one of his Bath rugby tops!

Name: Alice Stratford

Position: Senior Account Manager

Background: I studied Classics, English Literature, Music and Photography for my A-Levels at Richmond College. I then went on to read Music at the University of Nottingham. I started at GAGAGO in December 2010.

Why did you choose to work for GAGAGO? I chose to work for Give A Grad A Go as I was keen to secure a role in a start-up company, which had high aspirations. After struggling to find the right career path, I met with the team at GAGAGO who enlightened me and discussed my options. The team were so friendly and passionate about what they did that I knew I had to get involved!

Claim to fame: I used to be babysat by Keira Knightley.

Name: Raj Khela

Position: Digital Marketing Executive

Background: I studied Design Technology, Information Communication Technology and Drama at Seven Kings Sixth Form. I then went to Bournemouth University for my degree in Interactive Media Production, to finish with a MSc in Marketing and Management at Loughborough University. I started at GAGAGO in November 2010.

Why did you choose to work for GAGAGO? I wanted an environment that was challenging where I could work alongside a great team of people. The Give A Grad A Go brand has a great personality with an excellent set of principles. I enjoy communicating and marketing these through design and social media and am fortunate to have a great team of people who are striving to push this forward.
